Description

This tequila is crafted from the eighth sample created by the Camarenas for Tomas Estes. The agaves used take an average of eight years to mature before being harvested. Producing one liter of Ocho tequila requires approximately eight kilograms of agave, which is notably high compared to industry standards. It takes eight days from when the agaves arrive at the distillery to transform them into blanco (unaged) tequila. Carlos Camarena, the master distiller, has eight siblings, and the Camarena family is now in its eighth decade of tequila production. The tequila is aged for one year in ex-American whiskey barrels and is made with 100% Blue Agave.
