Glenrothes Whisky Maker’s Cut 48% ABV Matured exclusively in first fill sherry seasoned oak casks. Nose: A very rich sherry nose with lots of sweet fruity candied citrus peel, soft vanilla, and a hint of milk chocolate fudge. Sweet spices, soft sweet oak notes, and a touch of golden honey round out the aroma. Palate: A superbly rich opening on the palate with spicy notes, hints of dark fruits, vanilla, and soft toffee. Orange peel, honeycomb, and nutmeg, along with malt loaf, damsons, and red berries, lead to a long, flavor-driven finish.
