Description
Jura, a scenic island off Scotland’s west coast, is known for its 10-year-old whisky. The island’s name reflects its red deer population, with 5,000 deer outnumbering the 200 residents. Jura whisky uses pure hill water and is distilled twice in pot stills. Matured in a mix of American oak and sherry casks, it offers a medium-bodied, lightly peated malt with hints of spice and fruitiness.
