Description
Established by John MacDougall in 1815, the Ardbeg Distillery on Islay faced challenges in the 1970s and was closed in 1996, reopening in 1997 under Glenmorangie Plc. Known for its robust and earthy Islay character, Ardbeg is celebrated for its peaty, smoky, and complex profiles. The Ardbeg 10 is renowned globally for its intense peatiness and smokiness, balanced by the natural sweetness of the malt. Unlike most whiskies, it is non-chill-filtered and bottled at 46% ABV, ensuring maximum flavor and depth.
